4 Months...

At 4 months...
You are such a happy baby! I know that if you are fussing you are either hungry, tired or need a diaper change. The rest of the time you are so content!
You are getting your 2 bottom teeth! They have almost broken through and you have been such a trooper!
You have started to giggle and it may possibly be one of the most amazing sounds ever!

You love to smile, especially at your big sister! She can get a smile out of you anytime, anywhere and your smile is completely contagious! I could just kiss you all day:)

You love your carrier. I can strap you into it and you will usually immediately fall asleep. You love to be held and cuddled!
You are starting to "talk" a lot more. You are always "gooing" and I love to sit and have conversations with you.

You are still a great little sleeper. You don't take very long naps during the day but you sleep about 9-10 hours every night.
You can roll from your belly to your back. You are not a huge fan of tummy time so you solved that problem by figuring out how to roll over:) We just love you to pieces and can't get enough of you!!!

Birthday Girl...

Little Miss, I can't believe you are 3 years old!! You are such a sweetheart and you sure make life one big adventure!

At 3 years old...

You are an excellent eater! You love most any vegetable or fruit we give you, but your favorites are beets, asparagus, strawberries, raspberries, apples and cheesy broccoli.

You love eating popcorn! One of your favorite things to do is watch a movie with your own popcorn bowl, but you are really good about sharing with mommy and daddy.

You love to "cook" with your kitchen and have picnics. Every morning when mommy makes boiled eggs, you go and grab a blanket and we sit on the kitchen floor while we have a picnic and talk about our day so far.

You love to sing! You always sing "Hush now my baby" to your sister when she's crying and you get so happy when it actually calms her down! You also love the primary songs they teach you in nursery and we sing them together over and over and over...

You love people and social situations!

You love to talk! You will ask me questions and if I give a short answer you will say "just talk to me mom"...I love that you love to visit with me.

You LOVE to dance! If music comes on you instantly start shaking it! This is so fun except for when you want to do it in sacrament meeting during the hymns, even though you do slow down the pace and do it very gracefully...

You love "beautiful gowns". Every dress you have happens to be one:)

You are so smart and you amaze me with how much you understand!

You are fearless! You will try just about anything and it scares me to death!

You have a very strong will...you better use this for good through your life because you will be unstoppable at whatever you decide to do!

You love to be a "mommy" to your babies and Alyssa, you take such good care of them!

You love your doctor kit and you love going to the doctor and the dentist!

You love to read and some of your favorite books are Book of Mormon Stories and My Grandparents Are Special.

You love water! Swimming and baths are definitely some of your favorite things to do.

Your dad is still your best friend. You always want to be with him and he loves spending time with you...you two do everything together. "Daddy and Caitlin dates" just make your day!

You love Jesus. You know who he is and you always point out his pictures whenever you see them. I hope you know how much he loves you.

You are such a sweetheart and you light up our lives. We love you so much and love watching you grow up into a beautiful little lady. You are so special and I hope you feel that from us everyday!

Guess What I Heard??

Our Little Miss is now a big 3 year old!

We love every single piece of this little girl so much and we can't imagine life without her!

Snow Day...

It hasn't been a very wet winter for us, until now. It seems like it has been snowing forever, and due to the crazy amount of snow, school was cancelled for today. I don't love snow, but I do LOVE having Jeff home with us, especially when it isn't expected! I was able to sleep in this morning and Little Miss got to spend all morning with her dad. They made a delicious breakfast, homemade biscuits and gravy and bacon, and watched her new movie, Horton Hear's A Who. When I got up, Jeff took a little rest and then him and Little Miss got dressed in their snow attire and headed out to play while Miss A and I stayed in our nice warm home. They had so much fun and came in freezing! We made some hot chocolate with whipped cream on top and it warmed them right up. It is just one of those days that you wish wouldn't end...we sure love daddy!! I guess snow isn't so bad when it results in days like this...

2 Months Old...

Miss A at 2 months old...

You are an excellent sleeper. You sleep about 7-8 hours at night before you wake up to eat and then you will go down for another 3-4 hours!

You no longer have your fussy time from 6pm-10pm every night...that is a thing of the past.

You smiled for the first time on Dec. 18th at your Grammy Nola! You smiled a few more times over the Christmas break and now you love to smile and "talk" to us all the time. You are such a sweet baby!

You don't love your binkie. You like it to help you go to sleep, but other than that you don't want much to do with it.

You are a very content baby and you still love when your big sister sings to you.

You have the cutest facial expressions! You especially have a good "attitude" face...

You LOVE the shower and the bath, but you definitely don't love getting lotioned after.

You still love cuddling with your daddy in the big green chair.

But the thing I love about you the most is...EVERYTHING!
