I had the opportunity to go to Time Out For Women in Spokane in April and it was amazing! Little Miss got to stay home and have a daddy-daughter weekend and I took Lyss with me...we all had a blast! I have an awesome group of girlfriends, that I do most everything with since most of us are husbandless most of the time, and we were able to listen to so many talented and inspirational people. I felt like I got such a spiritual uplift and I love being reminded that I am doing exactly what I was meant to do...be a wife and a mom.

Swimming...
Little Miss took swim lessons this spring and she loved it! She has absolutely no fear of the water and she picks up on the skills really well. Now we just need to work a little harder on her "listening" skills and she will be a pro! :)

Moments to remember...
A couple days ago Caitlin woke up and came in to the front room where I was reading my scriptures. She always climbs up on my lap and asks me to read to her. A few verses in to reading, we started talking about prayers and I explained to her that she could pray anytime to her Heavenly Father, day or night. She asked if she could even do it when she was all alone and I told her she definitely could, that Heavenly Father and Jesus hear every prayer. I listed things she could thank them for and things she could ask for. The conversation ended and we went on with our day. Later that night, after I returned home from the gym, Jeff was telling me that after he put her to sleep he could hear her in her room talking and went to the door to listen...she was praying. Every time she would thank Him for something she would end the prayer and start all over to thank him for something else. It is one of those moments that touches your heart and reminds you that the things you are doing matter. And they matter eternally.

So this week was the best. Jeff took the entire weekend off from studying and spent the whole weekend with us three girls. This has not happened often since Vet School started, but I treasure it when it does. We picked him up from school and walked to a craft fair and home, went to a baseball game and attended the Vet School open house. Caitlin got tons of one on one time with Daddy! But the best part of the weekend for me was Jeff helped me clean and organize the entire apartment! I didn't even ask him to, it was all his idea. He cleaned out closets, rearranged rooms, cleaned the kitchen and floors and so much more. There was no way I would have been able to do all of that on my own with the girls and it really meant the world to me. He is always so good to help me whenever possible, he makes me laugh and he really is my best friend. He must have worked pretty hard because he said,"I am pretty excited for Monday so I can go back to school and have a break!" I love him so much. He is such a blessing to me and our girls and we are so lucky he is our dad and husband.

Tonight we said our prayers and read our scriptures with Caitlin and Alyssa, kissed Caitlin good night and left the room. About 15 minutes later I had this overwhelming feeling that I just wanted to hold Caitlin and read her some books. Jeff told me that I should go do it, so I did. When I went in her room, she was sitting on her bed looking at books and I asked her if I could read some stories to her. She knew exactly which ones she wanted and jumped on my lap. We read for about 30 minutes and I loved every minute. I know she is only little for a little while and I only have a limited amount of time to show her how much she is loved before I send her out into the world. I can't even say how much I love her and the joy she brings to our home is unbelievable. I have heard that it is the little moments that matter the most...I agree.

Easter 2012...
Reasons Why We Love Easter...
Grammy and Grampy McOmie came to visit and brought Little Miss two "beautiful princess gowns" and she was thrilled! We love them so much and appreciate them coming all the way up here to spend time with us. They got some really good cuddle time with miss Alyssa and Little Miss was completely attached to her grammy the entire time they were here! We took them to see the bears, watched a movie, took them to Little Miss's swim lessons and just hung out...we are so lucky to have them!
We went to our stake activity and Little Miss sang "Jesus wants me for a sunbeam" with the primary and got to sit on the Easter bunny's lap. They also did an Easter egg hunt but Little Miss picked up one egg, ate the candy out of it and was done:)
We dyed Easter eggs with our buddies, the Hansen's!
The Easter Bunny visited us and left some pretty great stuff! Bubbles, finger paint, shovel and bucket, and some yummy candy!
We were invited for Easter dinner with our friends, the Hardy's!
But we love Easter the most because we get to celebrate our Savior and his sacrifice for us. Because of Him, we can be free of sin and be resurrected. Because of Him, we can be with our families forever. Because of Him, all things are possible. We love Him and have seen His tender mercies and His miracles first hand. Jesus Christ lives and His gospel brings so much peace and joy to my life.

4 Months...
At 4 months...
You are such a happy baby! I know that if you are fussing you are either hungry, tired or need a diaper change. The rest of the time you are so content! You are getting your 2 bottom teeth! They have almost broken through and you have been such a trooper!
You have started to giggle and it may possibly be one of the most amazing sounds ever!
You love to smile, especially at your big sister! She can get a smile out of you anytime, anywhere and your smile is completely contagious! I could just kiss you all day:)
You love your carrier. I can strap you into it and you will usually immediately fall asleep. You love to be held and cuddled!
You are starting to "talk" a lot more. You are always "gooing" and I love to sit and have conversations with you.
You are still a great little sleeper. You don't take very long naps during the day but you sleep about 9-10 hours every night.
You can roll from your belly to your back. You are not a huge fan of tummy time so you solved that problem by figuring out how to roll over:)
We just love you to pieces and can't get enough of you!!!
